My first Jackson, TN photo shoot. Well sort of… meet Charis and Judah a couple of my absolute favorite kiddos, and clients from Indiana. Their awesome mamma has visited me twice since we moved to Jackson and the last visit she came with the whole family which was a total treat. I love how totally different this is from their last session. Love their sweet, silly, vibrant personalities coming out. Happy birthdays to you both, love you guys and your family!
What an absolutely perfect wedding day. Loved working with this happy carefree and laid back couple. Such a pleasure watching the ease of their love and a joy seeing them say their vows to one another. Congrats Dan and Caitlyn you two make such a sweet couple not to mention tall, beautiful, striking, fun, fabulous—-oh the list could go on. Thank so much for choosing me to be part of yourwedding day. Hope these photos bring back many happy memories of the day for years to come. Special thanks to Tina from a Modern Beauty & Portraiture for not only assisting but also for saving the rainy day with the use of her gorgeous studio space downtown!

Loved getting to work with these two on a gorgeous wintery day this February. Sarah & Mark are such a sweet couple and honestly I love getting to work with former clients again. We got to photograph Mark’s sister’s wedding a couple years ago so it was so much fun to see familiar faces. Thanks for choosing me to be part of your first day together as Mr. & Mrs. it truly is an honor. Wishing you two all the best as you embark on this new phase of life!
Many of you who knew me way back when know that I started my career as a newspaper photographer— Which I loved, but you see as a strict photojournalist you can’t get involved, you don’t move anything, you don’t touch anything… you never interfere with what is going on. I totally get it. I mean you want to be impartial, but here’s the thing. I love people and I WANT to get involved. I found that in photographing weddings I was no longer watching from the sidelines… I was actually an integral part of the day! I love getting to know our couples… be part of their days, laugh, cry & rejoice alongside them all while documenting it with my trusty camera. Maybe it’s because Tom and I worked together at my second newspaper but apparently this whole wedding day made me nostalgic and I can tell you I am so glad I got to be involved in this wedding! It was filled with so many fantastic moments as Tom & Megan not only were joined together as husband and wife but were joined together as a new family with Emma and Regan as well. It was a fantastically intimate ceremony with such beautiful poignant and laughter filled advice from other married couples. I cried, I rejoiced, I laughed and I’ll be honest partied a alongside Tom and Megan thoughout the day. So honored to be part of your wedding day. Congratulations to you and your new family. May your new life together be filled with so many more wonderful moments as you write a new chapter together.
Loved being part of this FABULOUS celebration. The whole day was full of loads of energy and lots of love. I loved the classic black & white that Lyndsay chose to showcase a color pallet as vibrant as her. The Empyrean made for a gorgeous backdrop as Chris & Lyndsay said I do in an intimate ceremony. The wedding was a perfect celebration of life and love filled with gorgeous details and a crew ready to celebrate. Thanks so much for choosing Happinest do be part of your wedding day….I was so happy to have Lesa Van Meter of Shadowlands by my side throughout the day backing me up and helping capture what hopefully will be some of your favorite memories together. Congrats, congrats, congrats Lynsday & Chris– may your marriage be filled with adventure, stability, amazing friends, good food, fun & loads of love.
