Thanks so much for stopping by! We are a husband and wife team who love photographing weddings together, sharing our lives, recent experiences and of course our shoots with all of you. I (janelle) also love documenting new additions and the various stages of growing family. With the advent of this new blog we will also try to share our wedding knowledge with you, our favorite local vendors, perhaps some fun craft projects, entertaining ideas, or a whole smattering of yummy finds both locally and regionally. Hope this becomes a frequent inspirational stop for you. Please feel free to leave comments or shoot us an e-mail to say hello! Thanks for visiting.

Leslie and Jim say “I Do” | Ft. Wayne Wedding Photographer

Leslie and Jim make a beautiful couple, actually they make a beautiful family, they have 3 beautiful girls, and an awesome son.  Normally I don’t post quite so many cute pictures of the flower girls, but considering these three cutie pies are Jim and Leslie’s I figured it was okay to share the wedding day spotlight with the whole family.  Their wedding was beautiful filled with bright pink details and the best of everything.  Sycamore Hills was a beautiful venue for the ceremony and reception, a great start to the next chapter of their life together.  Best Wishes from the nest!

Nicole’s super sweet family | ft. wayne family photography

Nicole of Portraits by Nicole was one of the first local wedding/portrait photographers we met.  We instantly liked her, the thing about Nicole is that there isn’t much not to like, everything about her personality is contagious.  Earlier this year I put a shout out to our photog friends to see if anyone wanted to do a session trade– my family wanted pictures for my grandma’s 89th birthday and Nicole graciously accepted, she managed to wrangle 3 married couples, 10 month old twins, a 3 year old, and my grandma!  Those photos are my grandma’s favorite thing— my mom made her a little book that she takes everywhere with her!  So THANK YOU Nicole for helping give those great memories to our family but also to my grandma!  All that to say I think we got the easier end of the deal.  Nicole is great in front of the camera and all her boys did awesome as well!  Doesn’t she just have the cutest little men?  This was one of my favorite family shoots to date, not just because we got to do something a little different, but because as a photographer we spend so much time documenting other people’s lives, their big moments, their happiest days and milestones, it was such a pleasure and honor to do that for Nicole and her family— when you ARE a photographer you mostly have photos of other people’s families, other people’s moments, so it makes it extra special when you finally take the time to get some of your own!  Thanks Nicole for entrusting us to photograph your family.  Much love! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Emily and Keegan | Warsaw wedding photographer

Emily and Keegan had a beautiful wedding day and ceremony at the Tippecanoe Country Club.  Every once in a while we have a wedding back in Warsaw and it’s always fun to get back to my hometown, especially for a wedding.  This wedding was full of yummy details and had a very cool vintage Hollywood vibe.  Emily did an awesome job picking out all kinds of fun details from peacock feathers to custom made suits and ties for the guys there were little bits of glam everywhere.  Hope you two enjoyed the honeymoon, wishing you all the best in your new adventure as husband and wife!

the Kellams welcome baby Adler : ft. wayne baby photographer

We love Brad, Danielle and their growing family.  I’m sure you’ve seen posts on this uber cute family before.   Every time it is a pleasure to see them again and to document new milestones in their lives.  The Kellams already have one adorable daughter and they just welcomed baby boy Adler to the fam!  He is such a sweet little guy.  We love seeing former clients again and at least in my opinion this is what makes our job so awesome when we get to not only document the start of your family (wedding day) but when we get to continue to document your lives as you change and grow.  Thanks so much for letting us be there for the milestones Kellams, we look forward to seeing your family grow and change.  Best wishes as you continue to grow this little guy and his big sis!
