I admit it…. I love blogs, craft projects, vintage, and creativity! I always have a list of craft projects, home decorating ideas and party ideas floating around in my head. While working on plans for a baby shower I’m throwing for one of my friends which will be incorporating some product from from one of my favorite fabric designers, Amy Butler, I discovered her new line of rugs. I’ve known about Amy’s fabrics and books for a long time, but now she’s introduced these handcrafted rugs and they are stunning! I think her combination of vintage, modern, and it makes me proud to say mid-western charm is brilliant. So I thought I would share my excitement on the blog. Wouldn’t one of these rugs just brighten up any space?
Her fabric and paper lines are also great for adding sweet touches to weddings, parties or just everyday life. Just think of all the project you can come up with from invitations to garland to party favors! The possibilities are nearly endless, but I’ll be sure to post later about how I use some of her designs at the baby shower!

Oh I love Amy Butler fabrics…I even have one of her sewing books (baby projects). She has the cutest stuff! I didn’t know that she had rugs! Thanks for sharing!
Of course! love that she’s from the midwest and love her design aesthetic even more. how is the baby project book? i introduced one of my friends to the fabrics and she is now using them to make curtains and bedding for her new nursery. i suggested the baby project book, but i don’t know that i’ve ever seen it in real life.
I saw these and flipped! Love them! Of course I found these AFTER I bought an Ikea rug I’m only half liking….go figure.
Miss you!
