Nicole of Portraits by Nicole was one of the first local wedding/portrait photographers we met. We instantly liked her, the thing about Nicole is that there isn’t much not to like, everything about her personality is contagious. Earlier this year I put a shout out to our photog friends to see if anyone wanted to do a session trade– my family wanted pictures for my grandma’s 89th birthday and Nicole graciously accepted, she managed to wrangle 3 married couples, 10 month old twins, a 3 year old, and my grandma! Those photos are my grandma’s favorite thing— my mom made her a little book that she takes everywhere with her! So THANK YOU Nicole for helping give those great memories to our family but also to my grandma! All that to say I think we got the easier end of the deal. Nicole is great in front of the camera and all her boys did awesome as well! Doesn’t she just have the cutest little men? This was one of my favorite family shoots to date, not just because we got to do something a little different, but because as a photographer we spend so much time documenting other people’s lives, their big moments, their happiest days and milestones, it was such a pleasure and honor to do that for Nicole and her family— when you ARE a photographer you mostly have photos of other people’s families, other people’s moments, so it makes it extra special when you finally take the time to get some of your own!
