Connie and Matt make for an adorable couple. Alone Connie is simply charming, together they are ridiculously adorable. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen so much excitement from one of our clients, which makes our job extra fun! Connie has lots of ideas and lots of enthusiasm, which means Matt is in for quite the ride. Kyle & Alyca make a super sweet couple. These two were total troopers on what was a completely dreary day, filled with moments of absolute downpour. However due to Alyca’s crazy busy schedule we decided to press on despite the rain, and I think it paid off! Congratulations to a fabulous couple, we are so excited for you as you finish up final plans for the wedding. We’ll being seeing you again before you know it!

Braye, Cory & their dogs Bella & Stella were so much fun to work with. I love that Braye spent time making the dogs their own coordinating bows so that they would match for the photos, so cute. Their dogs are total lovers, while I was laying on the ground trying to snap picture of the four of them together Bella would wander off and then just dive bomb me with love, then Stella would do the same, hilarious! Also loved that Bray made these cute little signs displaying their wedding date and she said yes! Cute idea Braye. Great meeting you in person finally we look forward to working with you again for the wedding, until then happy wedding planning!

I’ve known Brandon for several years now – we used to sling java together on the night crew, so we were thrilled when they got in touch with us to shoot their wedding. We know it’s going to be a party and that we will have a good time. The only catch is that Brandon is into photography so I feel like he’s going to be critiquing everything we do on the day of – hopefully we can live up to his expectations. Brandon an Heather are both hilarious and were great sports as we drove around trying to fulfill Brandon’s wish of finding graffiti. It was a frantic search around downtown – who knew it would be that hard to find? We finally found something that would work and made it happen. Hope you enjoy the little sneak peek guys.

Brian & Jamie were a couple that we had to reschedule umpteen times because of all the rain. We were debating having them build an ark for the session but it turns out none of us are very good with hammers or catching wild animals. So we braved a little less than perfect weather when they drove up from Columbus starting with an indoor locale and some social lubrication. They are an adorable couple and clearly in love, but a little nervous to be in front of a lens, I think. At one point, I told them to bring the smolder and they just giggled. Yes, BTW, Brian giggles. But wouldn’t you know it they squeezed some smolder in when they thought no one was looking. Janelle was there to catch it. We loved getting to do something a little outside of our norm for them and think they turned out great. Hope you do, too, and we know we’ll have a great time in August!

Crabs aren’t often the catalyst for a lasting relationship. It actually might be the first time in history, but it’s true. A mutual friend had blue crabs shipped in and hosted a crab racing tournament a few years ago. Wouldn’t you know it, Bob picked, trained, and coached the winning crab to the grand prize and caught Lindsey’s eye in the process. His tale of the crab’s run to victory follows a very similar plot line to Rocky IV.
Their relationship was born and fostered on the water. It’s where they met, fell in love, and where they will get married, so it was the obvious choice for their engagement session. We headed up to Tippy Lake and Country Club amidst breaking thunderstorms a few weeks back to sneak in their session and we love the way they turned out. It’s about time we got something that feels a little like summer. One of our favorites was Bob’s “tulips” he knew about, which turned out to be daffodils but looked great anyway. If you have followed us at all, you might have noticed that sticking people in front of a rose bush really isn’t our thing but since these were by a fallen tree we felt they were safe – typical us to go to a country club and crawl into the woods beside it. Congrats guys and we can’t wait to hit the lake with you in August.

Ali & Nick are another of our fantastic couples coming up this year and we can’t wait for the wedding. We put them through the ringer for their engagement session, including perching Ali in a tiny window sill (she wasn’t thrilled with me I could tell) but they pulled through like champs. Congrats you two, we hope you love them!

Jessie has one of those personalities, the kind that makes you want to smile at everything that makes her happy, the kind that makes you want to laugh at everything she thinks is funny, she’s well, contagious. Together her and Zac make up a super fun loving couple. And even though it was absolutely freezing out when we shot these pics they pulled through with cute cuddles, lots of love, and a little heat! Jen and Jeb are a fantastically fun couple. Shane had the pleasure of working at Starbucks with Jeb, which is where we met these two, and while we were building our photo business with Starbucks insuring us, Jen and Jeb were building a relationship that turned into an engagement! ahhh starbucks, what a magical place! Congrats on the engagements, we are definitely looking forward to the wedding!
