Congrats, congrats, congrats, I’m sure you already do, but ohhh how you’re going to LOVE it!

Lilly is such a sweet little girl, if you remember her from a few years back as a baby I took a sweet little picture of her and her lashes, I love that once again one of my favorites from her session was another lash featured image this time with Lilly’s long curly hair blowing in the wind.  Lilly’s dad Ryan is the food critic at the Journal Gazette so every year I not only get to look forward to shooting his adorable daughter Lilly, but I get to look forward to sharing a delicious meal with him and his family!  Last year I had just found out I was pregnant around the time of Lilly’s annual shoot and everything I do mean everything smelled and tasted disgusting to me.  I ordered a grilled cheese……Ryan guessed it….. I was pregnant.  :)   This year it felt great to be back to my old self as we finished off the day with some delicious Mediterranean Cuisine at the Maza Grille, ummm delicious!  Thanks for letting me share in your family milestones Ryan and for always introducing me to something new and yummy in the fort. :)

She’s the one with the incredible birth picture, her mom is the the one with the backlit snow maternity picture, and the onesie shower that so many of you have asked about was for her. Anyhow on to the real scoop……Charis is ONE! YAY!!! And this girl is one of the sweetest, happiest, cutest kids I’ve ever known. Charis’s mom Sarah watches Ezra while we are out shooting weddings on Saturday so my kiddo gets to look up to her and we’re hoping that some of her laid back, happy go lucky personality rubs off on Ez. It was awesome seeing this little girl born and it continues to be a pleasure and honor to be around her as she grows up! Thanks so much for including us in your lives Hooleys! Here’s to another year!

If you’ve followed the blog, you know might recognize Lisa & Drew. who are vying to become our most photographed family and with Dawson here they will probably climb the ranks pretty quickly.  Lisa wanted newborn pics but since Dawson’s arrival coincided with Ezra’s, it just wasn’t in the cards.  But we were happy to see them again and to get some 3 month pudgy pictures.  Their main request was to get some of his fantastic rolls.  Too funny.  Here’s the showcase and the gallery link is at the end of the slideshow.  We hope you enjoy!

I think it’s what we all dream about, a fairytale wedding, the perfect husband or wife, children who behave like angels.  But then there is the messy stuff, the good stuff, and so many happy memories in between all the stuff we made up to be in this picture perfect life!  I must admit this opening picture seems to be just one of those moments.  You’ve seen them before the picture perfect Kellams family— one of our favorite and most photographed clients!  But this picture— oh how it made Shane and I both laugh, here’s hoping it makes them laugh just as much.  :)   The rest are sweet moments from what was another fun and generally fabulous shoot (minus a smiling family pic) with one of our favorite families,  this one in celebration of Adler reaching the 6 month mark!  Happy half birthday little buddy!  Awwww I could just eat this family up with a spoon!
