I loved Hannah’s outfits. Such sweet little dresses and then her fun boots, can’t go wrong. Made me think think of all the cute little dresses you can get at Ruche. Despite the chilly weather it was a perfect setting at Salomon Farms, for another fabulous senior session. Hannah braved the cold and we even lucked out with a little golden light there at the end. Hope your senior year is absolutely amazing!

Erica was actually the first 2012 senior we shot for the season, however due to the overwhelming demand for her time and talent she just came in for her premiere last night. She’s been busy wrapping up volleyball season, modeling for a Vera Bradley catalog, applying for colleges, attending tennis lessons, and horseback riding, a little busy would be quite the understatement. So we were so excited to hear that she could finally come in for her premiere, and I think it was worth the wait— Oh how I love the contrast of her blonde, blonde hair against her dark horse. Hope your senior year slows down a bit, but that it is filled with fabulous memories and grand adventures!

Seth seems like a super nice guy. Shane and I were so proud when he actually knew our references to Zoolander, which totally used to be one of our go to reference points for senior guys— you know give us the blue steel. I mean it is one of the only mainstream male modeling movies that you can quote, okay it’s really the only one I can think of, but after seniors started reminding us that they were only in elementary school when that movie came out we kind of had to bag it. Thanks Seth for making us feel a little younger then we actually are, and thanks for putting up with our corny jokes. Hopefully it was all worth it, for what turned out to be some pretty sweet senior pics. Hope your senior year is amazing and that you enjoy this little sneak peek!

There are several families we truly consider to be part of our little nest. Some are our very first clients, others keep expanding their families so we get to keep getting to photograph them, others have become more then just clients and are now truly our friends, others are our hairdressers, insurance agents, babysitters, oh the list goes on and on. Well this family in my opinion is one of those families. Their oldest daughter was not necessarily one of our first seniors, but definitely one of our best seniors, not only did we have an absolute blast with her, but her session kind of helped us define what we really wanted to do with senior sessions. Then we got to photograph their entire family where I met all their lovely ladies, and their dog (who I still secretly wish was Bella’s boyfriend). What I’m trying to say is their family is the type of family that makes us LOVE what we do! I had a blast once again with these girls, my favorite is definitely the dreamy shot with the horse. Meet Taylor & Mariah. Our first set of senior twins! I’m sure they’ve had to share plenty in the past, but hopefully sharing a senior session wasn’t too bad, but actually a little bit fun. I know we had a great time working with you both, especially Taylor who kept us laughing throughout the whole session. Hope your senior years are absolutely the best you’ve had yet. Enjoy!

I am so in love with all our seniors this year. We have been having a blast meeting the class of 2012. Noelle is another super sweet senior and it was a pleasure hanging out with her, her mom, and her little bro who was along for the ride. When we asked Noelle what she was drawn to as far as environments, she said natural and bright colors. We found some gorgeous flowers in bloom at the peak of the season, love that about Indiana, that the flowers linger into the early fall. Anyhow without further ado I give you a quick sneak peek of Noelle’s pics.

There is nothing like waiting till the last minute to get your senior photos done, and what would you know leave it to a fellow photographer to do just that. If she wasn’t so cute, and an absolute breeze to photograph we might be a bit annoyed with the time crunch, but instead we had a blast talking about Bailey’s big plans. Yep, Bailey is a talented photographer herself, with a real passion for photography with a humanitarian or mission minded bend. She’ll be headed to Biola in the fall where I am sure she will discover other like-minded, artistic, caring folks to change the world with. Can’t wait to see where this girl goes, and how God uses her in the future. It was an absolute pleasure lady! Enjoy the summer and happy graduation!

We had the pleasure of meeting Amanda the other day for another quick senior session. We’ve had such a great time with our seniors this year and are so excited for them as the school year is quickly coming to a close. Can’t wait to see where everyone goes, and who they all become! Lauren barely squeaked onto our calender this year, and helped finish out of 2010 senior sessions with a bang! We were so excited to shoot her pictures, and completely honored that they picked us considering that Lauren is quite the photographer herself! She actually just got accepted to Parsons! Anyhow we had blast with this artsy, beautiful girl and are as always excited to see where she goes, what adventures she has, and who she continues to become. Happy senior year my dear!

Morgan is a fantastically sweet girl who was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Sure we had a little mishap with an outfit going missing half way through the session, but once this wandering tank was finally tracked down it was well worth the wait and we were rewarded with the most perfect golden light to finish off the session. I usually show a variety of locations and shots for a sneak peek but in the this case my absolute favorites were from the end— you can’t mess with gorgeous natural light falling perfectly on a gorgeous girl!
